Background
Chris grew up in Pembrokeshire, in Wales, and became interested in theatre and magic after becoming the assistant to a stage magician at an early age. `This became a passion and led to Chris becoming an accomplished performer himself. Both on stage and off, Chris has always been fascinated by design, invention, methodology, and solving puzzles. It was perhaps this interest which led to a degree at The University of Nottingham in Engineering followed by a 10 year career as a teacher, before finally starting in full time business as a performer, events producer, and director.
Despite leaving a career in teaching many years ago, education is still a fundamental part of Chris’ work and as such he seeks to teach aspiring magicians through performance workshops and by working with individuals as a consultant director and producer. He also has a desire to improve the public fluency for the art and performance of magic through the creation of public shows.
